¨La Tomatina¨ es una fiesta que tiene lugar en Buñol, un pueblo a media hora de Valencia, considerada de Interés turístico Internacional donde los participantes lanzan toneladas de tomates... ¡solo por diversión! La fiesta empieza con la escalada a un palo lleno de aceite con un jamón en lo más alto. Se canta y se baila hasta que por fin alguien consigue tirar el jamón desde lo más alto, el momento en que la batalla de tomates da comienzo. Más de 40 toneladas de tomates son lanzados en esta fiesta sin igual y miles de personas de España y del extranjero se reúnen para vivirla. ¿Te unes a la fiesta?

¨La Tomatina¨ is a festival held in the Valencian town of Buñol, where participants throw tomatoes…purely for fun! To start the festivities, the first event is the ¨greasy pole,¨ in which the goal is to climb a greased pole with ham at the top. Sing and dance as part of the crowd, until somebody is able to drop the ham off the pole…the signal for the tomato fight to begin! About 40 tons of tomatoes are used for this event and thousands of local and international people joins this unique party! Don’t you want to join in on the fun??
